Nagarao Island Resort in Guimaras, a real beautiful romantic place to relax...
One unforgettable travel experience this writer had is a stay in Nagarao Island Resort in Guimaras several years back.
It is an unspoiled tropical island that spans 10 hectares. Everywhere you look, there is lush greenery. A large portion of the island is home to the oldest mangroves, birds, butterflies and other animals, another part of it boasts of pristine white sand and another part is the Guimaras waters that is rich in unspoiled corals and fishes.
Nagaraom White Monkey Rock
At night, when you retire to your cottage, you hear the musical exchange of harmless creatures that inhabit the island.
According to its owner and manager, Helen Solayao-Stummer, you can eat to your heart's content as food is served fresh with ingredients coming from the sea and local farms. During lunch, all the guests are alerted by a bell ringing, which means, it's time to gather at the main pavilion and partake of the food together. With this system of dining, people of different nationalities get to share more about their country and culture as well as gain friends.
Nagarao The main pavillion and the
swimming pool
This ecotourism resort offers complete packages that are composed of room/cottage or villa with private facilities and full board (three meals), because one can't order รก la carte and there are no other restaurants on the island.
At Nagarao, there are 16 native-style bungalows equipped with modern amenities. Some cottages are already air-conditioned and the others have electric fans. These are solar energized, thus preserving the peace and quiet in the island.
Nagarao
The guestroom
Indeed, it's true what they say that when you are in Nagarao, you feel like you have the island all to yourself.
Iloilo City Inn, located at Bavaria Restaurant, Seminario Street, Jaro, is where reservations and bookings for Nagarao Island Resort are made. They can be reached through telephone numbers 3202186 and 3290078.

Subic Hotel
Subic Park Hotel - Subic Bay Freeport Zone Philippines
2006 witnessed the Subic Park Hotel in Subic Bay, Philippines rise to the upper echelons of the province's hospitality industry.
The Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Olongapo City remains as one of the Philippines' premier tourist attractions today. Visitors come to this cultural melting pot in Central Luzon for the clear fresh air, the refreshing sea breeze, the pristine beaches, the clear blue waters, and the untouched rainforests. It is consistently a favorite place outside of the Metro (Manila) amongst both domestic and international tourists alike; especially since it is a mere two hours away from the capital region.
And in 2006, the Subic Park Hotel blew the local competition away by posting the highest number of reservations particularly along the shorelines of Subic Bay.
The Subic Park Hotel sits on the sands of Moonbay Marina with its toes almost in the water. Every view or angle from all guest rooms reveals a scenic panorama that is guaranteed to quench any soul's thirst in communing with nature. Everyone can behold breathtaking sunrises and stunning sunsets as well as the bay's tantalizing shimmer on a moonlit night.
But neither the Subic Park Hotel nor Subic Bay, Philippines in its natural setting is limited in answering to every discerning guest's lifestyle. For a more entertaining evening, visitors can experience some of the most happening night spots that Subic showcases. These places feature live music, electrifying beats, or even soothing melodies - perfect for people who carry the party stamina.
Come home after all the fun in Subic Bay Freeport, Philippines at the Subic Park Hotel!

CLUB NOAH ISABELLE, Palawan Philippines
Club Noah has a vision of nature and man living together in harmony. Isabelle, the first Club Noah-owned resort, is designed to be a model-case for eco-tourism. With administrative authority over one mile radius of the island, Club Noah has slowly brought the reefs of Isabelle back to life. The presence of the rare Palawan grey heron, the Palawan hornbill and the kingfisher attest to the abundance of fish in the water.
Just as Noah's ark became the last refuge for all living things in biblical times, it is Club Noah's vision that future generations will still bear witness to the marvels of nature and commune as one with them wherever there is a Club Noah resort.
Club Noah- Isabelle takes its name from an old Spanish fort that sits near the harbor of Taytay town in Northeastern Palawan. Puerto de Sta Isabel, named in honor of Spain's Queen Isabela II, was built to protect the local townspeople from 18th century pirates.
