Before anything is formed it starts from scratch. Just like the theory of how the universe evolved with the BIG BANG THEORY and how places have evolved from just an ordinary hometown to somewhat a developed scenery.

On my trip in cebu I have came across through MUSEO de CEBU and I was astonished with the great evolution of the famous places there, I've seen famous articrafts that was recovered way way back from the oldest era.

BUT what I want to share is the pictures I have taken from MUSEO SUGBO.

Another spectacular and the most distinguished place here in Cebu is THE CAPITOL.

The Cebu Capitol, built in 1937 during the incumbency of Gov. Sotero Cabahug, is the terminus of Jones Ave. Strategically located at the foot of a hill, the graceful capitol commands a dramatic setting. Classic elements contribute to the sedate beauty of the structure. Its concave facade links two wings of the capitol forming a u-shaped plan. The facade leads to a tall foyer capped by a dome. Inside the dome is painted the history of Cebu. The foyer leads to the wings on either side. The Cebu Capitol is easily one of the more beautiful civic buildings built during the American colonial period.

Reaching SIMALA is not that difficult though, you can ride a bus (mini bus) from the City either in SOUTH BUS TERMINAL, or ONE-WAY CITILINK TERMINAL going to SIBONGA. From the main road of SIMALA, you can ride a TRICYCLE which will deliver you right infront of the MONASTERY gates.

Tubbataha Reef Palawan Philippines, nominated as 7 wonders of the world!

The name 'Tubbataha' is the Samal word for "long reef exposed at low tide". Samals are seafaring people of the Sulu Sea and are one of the few people who have accessed the Park in early1980's.

Cagayanen people who are more geographically associated with Tubbataha Reefs referred the Park as 'gusong'. Declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on December 1993, it is under protective management by the Philippines Department of National Defense (DND). It is under technical supervision by the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) & the Department of Environment & Natural Resources (DENR). It is administered as part of Cagayancillo town on Palawan.

Aside from being a marine sanctuary, Tubbataha is also renowned for being a bird sanctuary. A lighthouse islet, at the southern tip of the South Atoll, supports a large number of seabirds which nest there. Around the Tubbataha, there are tens of thousands of masked red-foot boobies, terns, and frigate birds resting during their annual migrations. To minimize any external intrusions, the Philippine Coast Guard maintains a small monitoring station on one of the many permanent sand bars.

Jinky, Manny Pacquiao's wife has been supporting him through all her practices all the way down. Ciara Sotto will be singing the Philippine National Anthem.

Pacquiao had no problems with balancing his weight for the upcoming fight. Unlike his former fight with Barera, he admitted that it was really difficult for him and that he was not really serious with the training which is contrary with the kind of training that he has been doing for the upcoming battle. Pacman achieved a 129 lbs for the upcoming event which makes him fitted for the fight.

After he was weighed, Pacman went back to his suite to relax and eat. Bulalalo and Ampalaya, etc., was swerved for dinner. At 9pm Pacman would have to rest and sleep for the game the next day.

Bounty Beach is the name of a stretch of beach along the southern and eastern shore. It is the main beach of the island where most of the upscale resorts are found. Local boats that can be rented in the Malapascua / Daanbantayan area, can take visitors to other nearby islands which generally remain unspoilt, such as Carnassa, Kalangaman/Calanggaman, Kanatarken(?), Gato, Chocolate Island -- and others

Getting to Malapascua Island is a 4-hour bus trip from the Cebu North Bus Terminal passing through picturesque northern towns of Cebu to Maya, Daanbantayan, the northernmost point of Cebu mainland. Upon arrival at the Maya wharf, motorized outrigger boats will take visitors to the Malapascua island across the narrow channel in 30 minutes or so, depending on the weather condition. The trip frequency to the island takes every 30 minutes for 24 hours, starting 9:00 am for the first boat and 4:00 pm for the last boat. But the trip back to the mainland usually stops at 3:00/4:00 in the afternoon. It can happen that no boat goes back to Maya in the afternoon, cause boats go only if enough passengers are available. In this case one has to try to rent a boat by a so called special trip that costs you about 600-800 Php!!

The Sinulog festival is one of the grandest and most colorful festivals in the Philippines. The main festival is held each year on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City to honor the Santo Niño, or the child Jesus, who used to be the patron saint of the whole province of Cebu (since in the Catholic faith Jesus is not a saint, but God). It is essentially a dance ritual which remembers the Filipino people's pagan past and their acceptance of Christianity.

The festival features some the country's most colorful displays of pomp and pageantry: participants garbed in bright-colored costumes dance to the rhythm of drums, trumpets, and native gongs. The streets are usually lined with vendors and pedestrians all wanting to witness the street-dancing. Smaller versions of the festival are also held in various parts of the province, also to celebrate and honor the Santo Niño. There is also a Sinulog sa Kabataan, which is performed by the youths of Cebu a week before the Grand Parade.
Recently, the cultural event has been commercialized as a tourist attraction and instead of traditional street-dancing from locals, Sinulog also came to mean a contest featuring contingents from various parts of the country. The Sinulog Contest is traditionally held in the Cebu City Sports Complex, where most of Cebu's major provincial events are held.
